Gottlieb Torch

How neat!

I am re-blogging this because I am an avid pinball machine lover and in fact recently got my boyfriend a 1980 Gottlieb torch pinball machine. I think its neat how some technology never dies and that old technology can still be appreciated right along side it.

Maybe for my birthday? Or Christmas? I promise ill be good.
This in comparison to my current 51inch Samsung plasma is like a tube TV to a flat screen.

Seriously buy me this…

The ultra-high quality definition is four times as sharp as standard quality high definition and is close to that viewed only in an Imax cinema.  However, for those wishing to view the latest picture in their own living room, they must have plenty of room available for the 84inch screen and plenty of spare cash with MSRPs of $19,999 for LG’s model and $25k for the Sony.  Toshiba is also already shipping a 4K TV, albeit only in Asia and Europe, but it announced the second-generation model will be available here this year.

Technology: Taking Caregiving to the Next Level

Technology: Taking Caregiving to the Next Level.

For those of you that do not know me personally I work as a Registrar in the Wheeling Hospital Emergency Department  When we moved from the old ED to the new Tower 5 I was amazed at all the improvements and new technology that were integrated. Some of these improvements are 4 new trauma rooms each with their own state of the art resuscitation equipment, a new 128-slice CT machine (the regions only 128 slice CT machine), and also they even extended and improved the cardiac  units and pediatrics floors.

I am always excited by new healthcare technology and love to be able to work with and see it for myself.

Not only do I admire the story-line and lore in the game but I also love the way leveling works and the way different characters and skills classes work.

So given that little bit of background I would like to announce that beta sign ups are now available for Elder Scrolls Online. Read the rest of this entry →
